二、课程目标

(一)总体目标:

 This course looks into the basic knowledge and the latest trends and developments in various fields of nanoscience and nanotechnology and related skill requirements.

 11 students get insight into how nanotechnology may be able to create many new materials and devices with a vast range of applications, such as in nanomedicine, nanoelectronics, biomaterials energy production, and consumer products.

 12 Stimulate students' innovative consciousness.

  1. 3 Cultivate students' ability to examine and solve problems related to the nanoscience and nanotechnology in future engineering practice.

三、教学内容

第一章 - Introduction and basics

We Defines nanotechnology and introduces the rudiments of a concept system (ontology) for it. The history of nanotechnology is outlined, and the way in which the discoveries of molecular biology have made biology into a paradigm for nanotechnology is explained. The convergence of nanotechnology, biotechnology, information technology and the cognitive sciences is discussed. Finally, the principal motivations for nanotechnology are outlined.



第二章 - Nanoelectronics

The aim of Nanoelectronics is to process, transmit and store information by taking advantage of properties of matter that are distinctly different from macroscopic properties.



第三章 - Nanomagnetics

We will learn that Magnetite nanoparticles are widely used for different medical-biological applications while their usage in optics is not as widespread. In recent years, nanomagnetite suspensions, so-called magnetic ferrofluids, are applied in optics due to their magneto-optical properties. We will discuss about the capability of nanomagnets in data storage and other applications.



第四章 - Nanophotonics



In this chapter we learn how to exploit optical resonances and strong localized fields that can be designed by nanoparticle geometry and material choices.
